On Saturday and Sunday, February 16th and 17th,
TSAMC will hold it's annual North Woods Championship Weight Pull. The
event is sponsored by M&I Bank, Lakeland Motors Ford Autmotive, Wisconsin
River Conservatory of Music, and Eukanuba Dog Food and will be held during the Eagle River
Klondike Days. A purse plus trophies and door prizes will be featured at this well
attended event. On Saturday, the event will be open during the times
stated below and for all who wish to enter. The Sunday event has been
reserved for those dogs and handlers who have been achieving success during the
season. It is by invitation only but it attracts several thousand
spectators. Concessions will be available. The Saturday event will
follow at the times below. If you would like to try your dog at the novice
pull and you don't have a harness, TSAMC will have harnesses available for your
use.
We're proud to note the sponsorship of Fat Cat, Inc.
Directions: Klondike
Days is at Eagle River's Derby Track. Watch for the signs.
Note: TSAMC is not, and
has never been responsible for gate entrance at this event. All
competitors must enter through designated gates, during designated times.
During registration, competitors can purchase reduced rate gate passes. It
works like this: each handler who actually handles a dog throughout the
competition will receive two gate passes free of charge to be used by
him/herself and his/her immediate family and/or assistant. Children under
8 years of age will be free. Our reduced fee for adults will be $5.00 for
all individuals 16 years of age or over. Youths between 8 and 16 years of
age will be charged $3.00 each. The reduced fee passes will be available
from the TSAMC registration station during registration time only. After
registration ends, handlers who have not picked up their free or reduced fee
passes will have to pay full price at the gate without exceptions. These
gate passes give us entrance to all Klondike Days activities and exhibits.
